Are linens included?
No, all of our cottages currently do not come with linens or towels. All quilts, blankets etc. as well as pillows will be there. However the bed sheets and towels will need to be provided by the renters. You receive a list of all bed sizes prior to your arrival in a confirmation email.
Am I responsible for cleaning the cottage after my stay?
Yes, however we do provide an optional cleaning service for each property in the rental agreement. Simply check the box to add a cleaning service to your rental.
Will the kitchen have everything I need?
The kitchens are all fully stocked with cookware, dining ware, utensils etc. Any “special” appliances or utensils (I.e. an espresso maker) you may wish to double check with us if it is there prior to your arrival if it’s something you will require throughout your stay.
Do you deposit the damage deposit I will be providing? Or do you just hold and return the cheque?
Bluewater Retreats deposits the entire damage deposit from all renters. This is necessary to show the money in the “damages” account in the event of an incident. The week following your rental the damage deposit will be returned in the same manner in which it was sent to Bluewater Retreats (cheque or Email Transfer).
My cat/dog is like a member of our family and is the greatest pet in the world. Can I bring it to your non pet friendly cottage?
While we do recognize that not all pets are created equally, our policy is to not allow ANY pets into our non pet friendly cottages under any circumstances.
